IUI

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is one of the most common types of fertility treatments. IUI has helped many couples struggling with infertility to achieve pregnancy. This procedure uses a small catheter to put “washed and concentrated ” sperm directly into the woman’s uterus close to the fallopian tubes during the time of ovulation. For selected patients, IUI can be an effective and affordable alternative to other fertility treatment options.

IVF

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is the most common, advanced, and widely accepted  assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatment that has helped thousands of couples grow their families since it was first successfully performed in 1978. The procedure involves removing eggs from a woman’s ovaries and fertilizing in an embryology lab with fresh or frozen sperm (from a partner or donor). The resulting embryos are cultured and transferred back into the uterus to achieve pregnancy.

Genetic Testing

Preimplantation Genetic Testing is a process to evaluate the chromosomal makeup of an embryo and to look for other specific genetic abnormalities. This technology, known as next-generation sequencing, enables the evaluation of embryos for problems prior to transferring them into the uterus, thus increasing the probability of having a normal pregnancy. PGT can be categorized into three groups. PGT-A (for aneuploidy), PGT-M (for monogenic disorders), and PGT-SR (for chromosomal structural rearrangements).

Tubal Reversal

Tubal reanastomosis, or tubal reversal, is a surgical method used to reverse tubal ligation. (An operation to prevent pregnancy by the surgical tying, cutting or burning of the fallopian tubes to prevent the passage of eggs from the ovaries to the womb.) This may be an option for women, who for various reasons, wish to reestablish their fertility. Dr. Arya is skilled in performing tubal reversal microsurgery through her special training in obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Fertility Preservation

At Precision IVF we believe that everyone has the right to have a family. Even if you are diagnosed with cancer, this right should not be compromised. Most cancer treatments, including radiation and chemotherapy, have a negative impact on future fertility. In many cases these treatments render the patient infertile.
